Betsy Comella McKay

Director of Sales, Bon Ton Café, Downtown Dish Catering, & The Cadre Building

Betsy is the Director of Sales for Bon Ton Cafe, Downtown Dish Catering, and  The Cadre Building. As the Director of Sales for The Cadre, she facilitates the event sales and planning for the 36,000 square foot historic landmark. The Cadre Building offers classic, unrivaled elegance for events both large and small. Betsy was drawn to her position at The Cadre because of the
diversity of events that The Cadre Building offers and the classic, unrivaled elegance.
In the past year, The Cadre Building has hosted weddings as intimate as 50 people to as
grand as 500. Memphis Fashion Week has chosen The Cadre as the background for their
lavish runway shows in the past. During the Sweet 16 basketball tournament held at the
FedEx Forum, the Dayton Flyers used Cadre’s three floors to entertain fans and alumni in
style. Several local corporate organizations enjoy hosting holiday parties and dinners for
clients in the space. Area schools and Greek life organizations think The Cadre is the
perfect backdrop for their formal affairs.

Known for her love of entertaining and travel, Betsy also has her own event planning
company, Salt Style & Events. Her company works closely with clients to create an event
design that will allow them to entertain in style. Betsy’s unique personality and attention
to detail enhances her projects.

Born in New Orleans, Betsy grew up in Memphis and is a graduate of Briarcrest Christian
High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in
public relations from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2003. She is an active
member of the Junior League of Memphis and Christ United Methodist Church. Betsy is
married to Ryan McKay and they have two sons, Patrick and Michael.

Kelsey Griffin McMillon

Event Manager, The Cadre Building

In December of 2012, Kelsey joined the staff at The Cadre Building as the Event Manager. Going
to work for one of the premiere event venues in Memphis has been a dream come true for
Kelsey. Within a week of starting at The Cadre, Kelsey graduated from college and became engaged.
Quite an exciting time!

Kelsey has loved her time working at The Cadre Building facilitating weddings and other social events
from start to finish. Kelsey’s favorite part about The Cadre is seeing the space transform into a new design with each event. Being a recent bride herself, Kelsey is a pro about the do’s and dont’s of wedding planning. She knows how important each detail is and enjoys working with brides planning
their special day.

Kelsey graduated from The University of Memphis in 2013, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal
Studies. She is married to Tyler McMillon and in her spare time serves as a volunteer in the preschool
ministry at Orchard Fellowship and spends time with friends and family.
